Consulting Cardiologists, PC is the leading independent private cardiology practice in Central Connecticut. We are looking to hire ambitious, confident, and dedicated Physician Assistants to join our team. New graduates are welcome and are encouraged to apply.
We provide our patients and the community with prompt and effective care for the prevention and treatment of heart disease in 10 locations. We are looking to expand PA staffing in multiple office locations.
Job Responsibilities
Our PAs play a significant role in our practice. You will have the opportunity to practice autonomously, within the PA scope of practice, with readily available, on-site cardiologist support.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Participate in patient care across the spectrum of cardiology including general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, and interventional cases.
- Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans for our patients, prescribe medications, and educate patients regarding cardiac health.
- Treat patients during routine visits, urgent visits, hospital follow-ups, pre- and post-operative, and procedural evaluations.
- Utilize electronic health records to ensure comprehensive tracking of patient information.
We encourage our PAs to participate in ongoing education for the development and advancement of your clinical cardiology career and knowledge. New graduates or those new to cardiology will proceed through an in-practice, cardiology-focused learning/ training program, with both PA and MD guidance.
