1971 – Consulting Cardiologists, PC was founded by Drs. Michael Rossi, Alfredo Nino, and James Dougherty with one location in Hartford
1980 – First satellite office to adopt nuclear services was opened in Glastonbury
1983 – CCPC was part of initial team for the Heart Transplant Program at Hartford Hospital
2001 – 2017 -Expand team by bringing on Drs. Jeffrey Walden, Kevin Tally, John Granquist, Andrew Feingold, Maximilan Lee, Kevin Dougherty and Steven Bleich
2008 – Dr. George Spivack became the Section Chief of Cardiology at Midstate Medical Center
2013 – Opened Wethersfield satellite office at 1025 Silas Dean Highway
2014 – Assumed the Heart Transplant Directorship role with Hartford Hospital
2014 – Opened Avon office at 100 Simsbury Road
2014 – Opened new, expanded office in Glastonbury at 305 Western Blvd.
2015 – Opened Manchester satellite office at 256 North Main Street
2017 – Dr. Dinkler takes on System Quality Co-Director at Midstate Medical Center
2017 – Opened Windsor satellite office at 74 Mack Street
2018 – Opened Windsor satellite office at 1060 Day Hill Road
2019 – Cardiology Associates of Central CT, LLC merged with Consulting Cardiologists, PC. Drs. William Farrell, Robert Golub, George Spivack and John Dinkler joined the practice which brought physician total to 11 and added a main location in Wallingford
2019 – Dr. Farrell adds interventional cardiology to the list of practice areas
2019 – Drs. David Altszuler and Norman Roth joined the practice
2019 – Dr. Farrell is named the Cardiology Medical Director at Midstate Medical Center
2019 – Opened West Hartford satellite office at 433 South Main Street
2019 – CCPC was one of the first cardiology group to implement telemedicine service during COVID
2020 – Dr. Allison Padegimas joined the practice which added a focus on women’s heart health and cardio-oncology
2020 – Opened Cheshire location at 280 South Main Street
2020 – Contracted with Hartford Hospital to support Liver/Kidney Transplant
2021 – Opened Middletown satellite location
2021 – Dr. Dougherty contracted with Tallwood Men’s Health Center to provides cardiology consult services
2022 – Dr. Zain Ahmed joined the practice which added focus on coronary and peripheral vascular intervention services
2022 – Opened Norwich satellite location to provide care to patients of Eastern CT Hematology and Oncology
2023 – Dr. William Perucki joined the practice which added a focus on providing extensive experience in electrophysiology
2023 – Dr. Zain Ahmed began providing interventional services at St. Francis Hospital
2023 – Obtaining privileges at Middlesex Hospital
End of 2023 – 11 offices with 16 physicians
